Awarded April 2026 · TekRamp
TekRamp has been awarded the WomensNET Startup Grant for April 2026. The $10,000 monthly grant was awarded to founder Kim Hernandez, recognizing the work TekRamp is doing to make federal market entry possible for cloud vendors and defense contractors through compliance automation.
The announcement was published by WomensNET (the Amber Grant Foundation) on May 19, 2026.
Why this win matters
WomensNET’s Amber Grant Foundation has been backing women-owned businesses since 1998. Their monthly grants surface companies solving real problems — and the April cohort recognized TekRamp’s mission directly: making compliance faster, more collaborative, and repeatable for the thousands of companies that get blocked at the federal market’s front door.
In Kim’s words from the announcement: TekRamp is “an OSCAL-native compliance acceleration workspace that helps companies break into the federal markets,” a sharp contrast to the spreadsheets-and-PDFs status quo. With CMMC enforcement beginning in November and an estimated 220,000+ defense contractors entering compliance for the first time, that mission has never been more urgent.
Help us win the $50,000 year-end grant
Here’s where it gets interesting — and where you come in.
Every monthly winner of the WomensNET Startup Grant becomes eligible for the $50,000 year-end grant. The year-end winner is selected in part by public vote. That funding would go directly into accelerating TekRamp’s roadmap — more AI capabilities, deeper CMMC tooling, broader supply chain flow-down support — for every customer headed toward FedRAMP authorization or CMMC Level 2 certification.
If TekRamp has helped you, if you believe federal compliance shouldn’t take three years and three million dollars, please help us advance.
